I found Mr Cohen by chance last summer as I was in desperate need of help for my brother. He was placed in CA jails for a crime he supposedly had committed in TX. TX wouldn’t let us post bond while in CA and CA wouldn’t let us bond him out without TX releasing his warrant! Literally dozens of criminal attorneys, all over the Bay Area, told me I had no hope or chance in getting my brother out. Every single attorney told me he needs to spend weeks, even months in jail and wait to be extradited back to Texas. But then none of them new anything about extradition laws. David told me right away that he could help and that there are laws set to help us. David is a very capable, knowledgeable attorney. Not only does he know the Law, but he’s a force to be reckoned with in court! In fact,when he walks in a court, you fell like Rocky’s on your side! He got my brother out in days! Not only did he get the reduced 10 month sentence, he was able to split it in half, which was 5 months of incarceration and 5 months home detention. I ended up being able to do 2 months incarceration, 3 months in a halfway house, and 5 months home detention . Now, David and his team filed a motion for me to get off of supervised release early for the same case, resulting in reducing my supervised release from 3 years to 2 years. I was given 3 years of supervised release and David help[ed] me get off in 2 years. I really appreciate the work that David, Cherie and their team have done for me.
