Extradition
Extradition is the official process whereby one nation or state requests and obtains from another nation or state the surrender of a suspected or convicted criminal. Between nation states, extradition is regulated by treaties. An experienced federal defense attorney can challenge the extradition request and help you to preserve your rights under the United States Constitution. This is important, because often, you have more legal rights here than you would in the country to which you could be extradited. You can be granted bail while challenging the extradition request.
