Kali Grech graduated Summa Cum Laude from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo in 2001 and earned her JD from the University of San Francisco, School of Law. Throughout her time both as an undergraduate and law student, Ms. Grech worked in many different types of offices, practicing various types of law including family law, tax law, bankruptcy law, environmental law, and civil litigation. During school Ms. Grech achieved certification to represent indigent clients in landlord tenant disputes, she also participated in a study abroad program focusing on environmental and human rights law, an internship with the Sierra Club, and an externship with Hon. Alfonso Fernandez in Santa Clara County criminal court. Through her vast array of experiences Ms. Grech discovered her passion for criminal defense, which she has practiced since her graduation from law school in May, 2005. Ms. Grech began her career as a criminal defense attorney at the Contra Costa County Public Defender's Office in Richmond, and began working at Bay Area Criminal Lawyers, PC in October 2006. During her time at Bay Area Criminal Lawyers, PC, Ms. Grech has made numerous court appearances throughout California, and has enjoyed the opportunity, and the gratification that comes with helping her clients.
