Jamieson Fong’s criminal defense background began as a Certified Law Clerk with the San Francisco Public Defender's Office working on felony and misdemeanor cases. Mr. Fong gained hands on experience in criminal procedure, trial preparation and strong oral and writing advocacy. As a Certified Law Clerk, Mr. Fong argued a variety of motions and felony preliminary hearings.

While at the University of San Francisco School of Law, Mr. Fong was President of APALSA (Asian Pacific American Law Student Association) and competed in the National Thomas Tang Moot Court Competition. Mr. Fong also served as a law clerked for a local San Francisco law office where he gained experience working on a wide array of litigation matters.

After graduation Mr. Fong continued his criminal law experience as the Juvenile Justice Post-Bar Law Clerk with the Asian Law Caucus. Mr. Fong then practiced civil litigation as an Associate Attorney with Van De Poel, Levy & Allen, LLP.

Prior to law school, Mr. Fong graduated cum laude and with Honors in Politics, with minors in Asian American Studies, Public Service, and Legal Studies from the University of San Francisco.

Mr. Fong was admitted to the State Bar of California in 2007. He is a member of the American Bar Association California Bar Association and the Asian American Bar Association.
